The Medium of Instruction Policy for Junior Secondary Curriculum

1. In addition to the English class quota and parents' wishes, S1 students applying for admission to the English class will also provide an English writing assessment.
2. S.1 to S.3 Class A is an English class, with English books and 100% English teaching*. The first semester of S.1 is the adaptation period and 50% is the English teaching indicator. It is expected that the English teaching indicator will increase to 70% to 100% in the next semester.
3. Except for Class A, all classes in Secondary One to Secondary Three are Chinese classes, with Chinese books and Chinese teaching.
4. The Chinese classes of Secondary One to Secondary Three add English learning elements according to the abilities of the students in each class and the situation of the subject.

* The life and social subjects of all classes from Secondary One to Secondary Three use Chinese as the medium of instruction.
