Scholarships and Grant-in-aid Scheme

Apart from general fee remission and textbooks allowance, our school also has the following scholarships available:

 

Man Kwan QualiEd “Star of the Year” Scholarship

Each year a student having outstanding performance in academic, conduct, creativity and talents would be honoured as the “Star of the Year” and granted a scholarship worth the annual tuition fee

 

Man Kwan QualiEd Outstanding Academic Performance Scholarship

Promotion from: F.1 to F.2.,F.2 to F.3,F.3 to F.4,F.4 to F.5,F.5 to F.6:

All students ranked within the top three of each form would be granted a scholarship worth at least the annual tuition fee.

All students ranked fourth to tenth of each form would be granted a scholarship worth at least half of the annual tuition fee.

All students of F.1 to F.5 ranked within the top three of each class would be granted a scholarship worth at least the tuition fee for a month.

 

Hong Kong Jockey Club Outstanding Scholarship

In order to show our gratitude towards the generous donation from the Hong Kong Jockey Club as a contribution to partial funding of the foundation of our school, we set up this scholarship, apart from naming our Talent Building as “Jockey Club Talent Building”, to encourage students to develop their talents

1.  Our school will annually select one student with outstanding talents to be the “Star of Talents”. Students selected can obtain in the form of study voucher a scholarship of the amount at least equivalent to the whole year school fee

2.  Awarded to students who obtain top 3 positions in any local or international talent competitions a year before admission to our school. Students selected can obtain in the form of study voucher a scholarship of the amount at most equivalent to the whole year school fee upon the approval of the funding panel

3.  Awarded to students who obtain top 3 positions in any local or international talent competitions. Students selected can obtain in the form of study voucher a scholarship of the amount at most equivalent to the whole year school fee upon the approval of the funding panel

 

Multiple Talent and Outstanding Performance Scholarship

Every year, in each of the four areas, namely, “Physical Education”, “Uniform Teams”, “Performing Arts” and “Social Services”, a student having demonstrated outstanding performance would be respectively elected and granted a scholarship worth the tuition fee for a month.

Greater China Tertiary Education Scholarships by Man Kwan Education Fund

Scholarships for students studying in universities in “mainland, Taiwan and Macau” are set up for each school per year with amount of $10000 for two students studying in universities in mainland, Taiwan and Macau.

 

Boundless Education Scholarships

1.  Subsidizations are offered to students of poor families for helping them participate in various learning activities, extra-curricular activities, study tours and talents activities. Students selected can obtain $500-$1000 upon the approval of the funding panel and hence their right and effectiveness of learning wouldn’t be lost due to financial difficulties.

2.  At least $20,000 will be awarded annually per school for supporting students in their overseas study tour

 

Yung Lai Chun Scholarships

The scholarships are offered by our School Director Ms. Yung Lai Chun.

The scholarships distributions are as follows:

1.    One student who obtains the best result in HKDSE and continue to study in one of the local recognised full time degree course (with conduct graded at least “B” in school) will be awarded $5,000.

2.    One student who is able to continue to study in one of the local recognised full time degree course despite the hardship or misfortune he / s
